The Adventist English Association is a group of  Seventh-day Adventist university and high school teachers committed to teaching English in a Christian learning environment.  Our goal is to foster a sense of community among Adventist teachers and to provide meaningful opportunities for professional collaboration among like-minded English educators and scholars.

To join the AEA, you must meet one or more of the following criteria:

1. be an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist church who has at least 1 degree in English;

2. be currently employed in the English department of an SDA secondary school or university;

3. be currently an active member of the SDA church and currently employed in the English department of a non-SDA secondary school or university, (ex. a public high school or a state university)

4. be pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in English at an SDA university.
